Rebel for Business

You're in. Here's how our community works.

The house rules for the free community, CEO Hour, the Burn Your BRA: Fireside Chat podcast and gifted sessions.

The Rebel for Business community is free, open and built on generosity. These terms keep it that way: a space where everyone is welcome, feels safe to share, and knows what to expect from each other.

They apply to the free community (including the WhatsApp group), CEO Hour, the podcast, and any session gifted by Rebel for Business. By joining, attending or taking part, you agree to them.

The free community and WhatsApp group

The WhatsApp group is first and foremost an accountability group: a place to set intentions, check in regularly and cheer each other on.

  • Everyone is welcome. We're here to lift each other up. Be kind, be respectful, and assume good intent.
  • Accountability first. Expect regular check-ins. Share what you're working on, what's stuck and what you've achieved, big or small.
  • Sharing your business. At set times you'll be invited to share part of your business or something you're working on, for feedback or to celebrate. Outside those times, please keep posts to check-ins, questions and support.
  • Feedback is a gift. Give it honestly and kindly. Take what's useful and leave the rest.
  • What's shared here stays here. Don't screenshot, forward or repost other members' messages, ideas or work without their permission.
  • No unsolicited DMs to sell. Please don't message members privately to pitch your services. If someone asks you directly, that's different.
  • Your data. By joining, you agree your name and number are visible to other members. Leave any time, no explanation needed.

Promoting your services

We love seeing what members do, and there's room for almost everyone to share their work. The one ask: please don't promote services that compete directly with Rebel for Business or Rebel Escapes in spaces Rebel for Business hosts. This community is run free of charge, and that only works if it isn't used to redirect its members elsewhere.

Please don't promote

  • Clarity, strategy or business-planning sessions for women in business
  • CRM set-up, automations, workflows, booking systems and client journey mapping
  • Building memberships, group programmes, sales pages or funnels
  • AI integration and systems set-up for small businesses
  • Retreat planning for others
  • Bespoke, experience-led travel for solo entrepreneurs

Absolutely fine

  • Your own services outside these areas
  • VA services that don't overlap, such as inbox, admin, diary management and social scheduling
  • General travel, such as package holidays
  • Products, physical goods and unrelated services
  • Events you're running, shared at the invited times

Not sure? Just ask Nikkola first. She'd much rather have a quick chat than an awkward one later.

CEO Hour: attending

CEO Hour is open to every community member. When invited, you're welcome to introduce yourself.

  • Keep it to about 60 seconds: your name, your business and what you do, so everyone gets a turn.
  • The same promotion guidance applies as in the community.
  • Recording. Sessions may be recorded and shared as replays with community members. Keep your camera off or change your display name if you'd rather not appear.
  • Guest content belongs to the guest. Please don't record, screenshot or reuse a speaker's slides or material without their permission.

CEO Hour: being a guest speaker

Thank you for sharing your expertise. When you confirm your guest slot, you agree to:

  • Send your promo assets: a headshot or social media graphic and a short bio, by the date Nikkola gives you.
  • Confirm your topic in advance, and let Nikkola know if it changes.
  • Keep to approximately 20 minutes of speaking time, unless Nikkola agrees otherwise.
  • Share your appearance with your own audience on social media, and invite them to join using the sign-up link provided.
  • Give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel, so Nikkola can find a replacement.
  • Keep your pitch light. A short mention of your offer and a link at the end is welcome; the session itself should be value-led.
  • Agree to recording. The session may be recorded and shared with community members, and short clips may be used to promote CEO Hour. You keep ownership of your content.
  • Own what you present. Make sure you have the rights to any material, images or music you use.

Podcast: being a guest on Burn Your BRA: Fireside Chat

What we ask of you

  • Send a headshot or social image and a short bio before recording, for use in promotional materials (YouTube, Spotify, social media, newsletters and the website).
  • Give as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel.
  • Share the episode with your audience when it goes live, using the guest pack you'll receive.

What you can expect from us

  • Notice before the episode is shared on social media, so you have time to plan your own posts.
  • The episode link and promotional assets to share.

The small print

  • No guarantee of release. We make every effort to publish every episode, but Rebel for Business can't guarantee a recording will air, or when.
  • Editing. Episodes are edited for length, clarity and quality. Final editorial decisions sit with Rebel for Business.
  • Use of the recording. You give Rebel for Business permission to publish, edit and reuse the recording, your name, image and bio, in full or as clips, across its channels, with no fee payable either way. The recording belongs to Rebel for Business; you're welcome to share the published episode and clips.
  • Asking for a cut. If there's something you'd like removed, tell Nikkola as soon as possible after recording and she'll do her best to accommodate it.

Gifted sessions

Occasionally Rebel for Business gifts a session, for example to a podcast or CEO Hour guest, or as a prize. In return, you agree to:

  • Leave a review (such as Google) within 14 days of the session.
  • Provide a written testimonial Rebel for Business can use, with your name, business name and photo, on its website, social media and marketing.
  • Turn up, or give 48 hours' notice. A gifted session missed without notice is forfeited and won't be rebooked.
  • Use it within 3 months of it being offered, unless agreed otherwise.

Gifted sessions have no cash value and can't be transferred or exchanged.

Intellectual property

The advice is yours to use in your own business. The frameworks, materials and methods remain the property of Rebel for Business.

  • All content delivered by Nikkola Wright, Rebel for Business or Rebel Escapes (in sessions, CEO Hour, the podcast, the community, workbooks, templates, recordings and resources) is owned by Rebel for Business.
  • This includes the Burn Your BRA™ (Business Reality Audit) framework, its archetypes, and the Pause. Name. Rebel. methodology.
  • You're welcome to apply what you learn to your own business.
  • You may not copy, resell, teach, repackage, rebrand or share these frameworks or materials, or use them to deliver services to your own clients, without written permission.
  • Please credit Rebel for Business if you reference its frameworks publicly.

The general bits

  • Guidance, not guarantees. Advice shared in the community, CEO Hour or the podcast is general in nature. You're responsible for your own business decisions and results.
  • Guest views are their own. Guests' opinions don't necessarily reflect those of Rebel for Business.
  • If things aren't working. Nikkola will usually have a friendly word first. Repeated or serious breaches of these terms may mean removal from the community, CEO Hour or future guest opportunities.
  • Changes. These terms may be updated from time to time. Members will be told about significant changes, and continued participation means you accept them.

Any questions at all, just drop me an email. I'm so glad you're here.
